After two days of meetings with potential ownership groups that were described as "routine," there was no such proclamation from the club Thursday.
That's because there was no meeting of any type.
The Rangers met with Houston businessman Jim Crane on Tuesday and Pittsburgh sports attorney Chuck Greenberg Wednesday. A meeting is scheduled with the other group, headed by former sports agent Dennis Gilbert, for sometime next week.
