Here’s a name I haven’t thought about in a long time, LHP Jack DiLauro.
DiLauro pitched for the 1969 Mets in a relief/spot starter role during the regular season and was quite effective. He wasn’t on the post season roster but he did receive a ring and did get to join the team on stage at The Ed Sullivan Show
For whatever reason the Mets let DiLauro go in the off season and he signed with the Astros and pitched so-so for them in 1970 which turned out to be his last in t...
