Pecherov drops 24 of the Celtics

Drafted ahead of the likes of Paul Milsap, Rajon Rando, and Jordan Farmar, Olesky Pecherov was never viewed as anything more than a dissapointment to Wizards fans during his tenure. After being drafted in 2006, Pecherov sat out the entire year and instead played a final season in Europe playing for, no joke, Paris Basket Racing. Pecherov then suffered two miserable seasons in Washington. The Ukrainian struggled to do a lot of things, most important of those things, get off the bench. The seven footer couldn't even average nine minutes a game on a Wizards team that only won 19 games last season. In the offseason, he was part of the package that brought Randy Foye and Mike Miller to Washington from the Timberwolves. Pecherov however, has been the man in Minnesota since the trade. Considered no more than a throw in to the T-Wolves in the deal, he has filled in exceptionally for the injured Kevin Love.
