According to PFT via Chris Mortensen, it seems that the NFL may be questioning Deion Sanders after nearly a month of back and forth concerning the Michael Crabtree tampering charges the 49ers filed against the Jets. The NFL may be questioning Deion Sanders, whose comments on NFL Network from September 4 spurred the 49ers to file tampering allegations against the Jets. Sanders said that two teams are willing to pay Crabtree twice what the 49ers have offered, and that Crabtree knows it. Sanders, as we’ve pointed out, is a league employee.  And so the NFL has the right to tell Deion that, if he doesn’t answer questions, then Deion won’t be working for the NFL. As we’ve previously said, it all comes down to whether the league has the will to push Deion to sing. May I just reiterate Rex Ryan’s words: “I wish we were playing them [the 49ers] this season.”
