Well, I probably should have seen it coming about the Yankees: when I got home Wednesday night, the dog had taken a big crap in the middle of the bedroom. I should have realized the Phillies were doomed. Really, I can’t get too worked up about the Yankees, even though their winning is the kind of worst thing ever. No longer will A-Rod lack that one element on his resume. No matter what happens over the rest of his contract, Mark Teixeira will never for a second regret signing with New York over Boston.
