Gregg, Landry, Williams and Yanda expected to play major roles for team this season Kelly Gregg attacked his offseason knee rehabilitation with single-minded devotion - scuttling through all the minicamps, pressing all that iron, going deep into therapy without mishap.

Win a Donovan McNabb Bobblehead

I spent some of the holiday weekend cleaning out the ITI prize closet. Low and behold, I stumbled across a Donovan McNabb Bobblehead. It looks like the one in the picture above. Who wants it? Now, this giveaway has a catch. Only those who subscribe to the RSS feed are eligible. And by subscribe, I mean [...]

Best Cornerbacks and Centers

I hope everyone had an enjoyable Independence Day. More adulation for some Eagles this morning. Bucky Brooks at NFL.com has pegged his Top 5 cornerbacks. Asante Samuel placed third. Here’s what Brooks said about him: “The big-play specialist has ascended to the top of the cornerback charts because of his outstanding ball skills and awareness. The two-time [...]

2009 Philadelphia Eagles Position Preview: The Defensive Line

It is said that games can be won or lost on the line on the line scrimmage.  The defensive line is literally the first line of defense in helping the defense perform efficiently. On the right side of the line for the Philadelphia Eagles, DE Trent Cole provides speed off the corner in the pass rush.  [...]

Young Veterans Hold Key Roles For 2009

Brent Celek looks the part. He almost never runs the wrong route. He catches everything thrown his way. In his third NFL season and his first as a going-in-as-a-starter tight end, Celek seems right at home in the Eagles offense. Truth is, he is going to have an enormously different role than the one he had for two seasons, and that sure seems OK right now.

DUCK! IT'S 2009!

STEVE McNair was found shot to death. He was 36 years old. I wonder how Donovan is taking the news. With everyone dropping like flies this year, it's getting so that when I see anyone more than twice in a week, I'm nearly overjoyed. This is crazy. To all my fellow Barkers out there: Good Luck with getting to 2010!

The NFL Family has lost a friend

I am deeply saddened by the tragic lost of QuarterBack Steve Mcnair. I want to extend my deepest condolences to the Mcnair family , specially his wife Michelle and his son's . Steve was a great person, who i admire with a great deal. He was a warrior. The world lost a great man today. This is so sad .

ONE MORE THING....

AN autopsy was performed on Steve McNair, and police have ruled his death a homicide. I read this on NFL.com and almost sh** a clone of myself. The guy took 2 bullets in his head, and 2 in his chest. What else COULD it have been ruled, an accident? Hard to believe that couldn't be determined at the scene, when I had it called here in my livingroom. Just call me Columbo.

216 DAYS TIL VICTORY

WITH any luck everyone on the EAGLES roster is as serious about this as I am. They should add two fans to the roster every year. I mean they should give us a Vince Papale type tryout so we can be part of the experience of winning our first Superbowl.

NFC East Team and Player Ratings Revealed in Madden NFL 10 Season Preview

Philadelphia Eagles|NFC East Rated 88 The Eagles have had arguably the best off-season of any team in football after beefing up the offensive line with LT Jason Peters (95 OVR/98 RBS/97RBF) and Stacy Andrews (87 OVR); they then traded for CB Ellis Hobbs (83 OVR) to bolster the secondary after losing Lito Shepherd to the Jets...not to mention the brand new weapons...
