Hands down (maybe), the 1996 draft was the greatest of all-time. Iverson went first to the ‘6ers; Camby, Marbury, Ray Allen, Antoine Walker, Peja, Nash, Kerry Kittles, Jermaine O’Neal, Derek Fisher, and Kobe Bryant also heard their names called that year. Funny enough, though, Shareef Abdur-Rahim was as good as the best of them. Like Russ wrote in this ish: “Since humility won’t allow him to say it, we will—Shareef Abdur-Rahim will change the game. And hopefully we’ll all get to see it happen.” Unfortunately, things don’t always work out like they should. And while Rahim didn’t change the game, he played it damn well.

Derek Fisher Rips Dwight Howard’s Superman Cape
Ignore the blatant Kobe Bryant elbow to the face of Jameer Nelson (much like the refs did), and enjoy Derek Fisher canning the three that more-than-likely ended the Magic’s hopes of claiming the franchise’s first NBA championship.
