Last weekend the TCU Horned Frogs beat BYU to continue their undefeated season and to stay in the hunt for the elusive BCS birth. But also in that talk is, the slim chances of a non-bcs school sneaking into the national championship game. The thought here is that it would never happen, but why not? if TCU can remain undfeated, they will have a strong resume with wins at Virginia, at Clemson, at BYU(who was ranked) and a win at home over Utah(also ranked).
For this to be able to happen, TCU would have to hope that all but one of the teams ahead of them lose at least one time. Even if all of that happens, all of the experts still say that a one loss SEC or Pac 10 team will jump the horned frogs into the national championship. Which doesn't seem fair if the Horned Frogs stay undefeated. The whole thing sounds fishy, and I think it becomes a deal that the BCS doesn't want a non-BCS confrence school to be in the championship.

So, even though I am not a die hard TCU fan, I am going to pull hard for schools ahead of TCU to lose at least once, hopefully twice and force the BCS to put them in the national championship. That would end up creating the havoc needed to hopefully draw a playoff system. I feel that TCU would be deserving of the oppertunity to play if they run the table.

Gary Patterson has become one of the most succsessfull coaches in the country, but you never hear his name come up for big time jobs. Yeah, last season he had an oppertunity to go to Minnesota, but that is a step down with what he has done at TCU right now. Hopefully this dream season can continue for the Frogs and add another wrench into the crappy system we call the BCS.
