USC's stunning upset to Washington took its toll on the rankings. Embarrassing as the loss was, it created a conundrum as far as the rankings go, because these Trojans did get a quality win over Ohio State in Columbus. There was no way The Señior could put USC below the Buckeyes. It's the sad state of what happened between the Trojans and Ohio State: unless USC does a faceplant through the rest of the Pac-10 slate, it'll stay ahead of the Bucks even if they run through the rest of the Big Ten schedule.So we'll settle with USC at No. 13, making it likely the most talented 13th-ranked team in the history of polling.
