Scott Van Pelt is your voice for the spanking new version of Tiger Woods '10, and the folks at EA Sports have decided to run some ads with the ESPNer. The premise is that SVP wants to be an actual golfer, but only his voice appears in the game. Thus, Tiger carries around a talking cardboard cutout of Van Pelt, and of course hilarity ensues....Man that was rather long, wasn...

In a great move by EA Sports, they chose ESPN’s own Scott Van Pelt’ as the voiceover for the new Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 game. And with that comes these clever little ads featuring a cardboard cutout of SVP. Hopefully I can rattle Tiger like this over the weekend at Bethpage.

Central Florida and Southern California can claim the world's greatest golfer, Tiger Woods, as their own. He grew up in Orange County, Calif., but he lives here now. In fact, Woods himself has said he feels "torn" watching these NBA Finals. He grew up rooting for the Lakers, but he now attends Magic games. So, which Tiger is best: the Orlando Tiger or the Los Angeles-area Tiger?

Tiger Woods began his final practice round of the U.S. Open by hitting a 5-wood for his second shot on a par 4, which is rare for someone with his power. Stranger still was that it wasn't enough club to reach the 10th green.

This isn't really a website that breaks news, but after taking a minute to look at this picture, I think Tiger Woods and Spike Lee are teaming up to do a documentary. Sure, there is absolutely zero proof that any of this is for real, but Tiger is the only athlete I could think of that might make "Doin' Work II" less interesting than the first one. STAN HONDA, AFP
