W. Golf. WSU Women in Ninth after First Round

The Washington State women's golf team performed well today in Texas at the par-70, 5,938 yard Onion Creek Golf Club. With three golfers right around par and two in the top 25 the Cougars are currently in ninth place out of the 21-team field. Unfortunately the second round could not be completed due to darkness but the teams will start earlier tomorrow in order to finish on time.
