The University of Oklahoma rowing team races in the final regatta of the fall season at the Head of the Hooch in Chattanooga, Tenn., Nov. 7-8.The Head of the Hooch is the second largest regatta in the country with over 1,500 crews from the high school, college and masters ranks. The event begins at the Riverfront at Ross's Landing Park and extends 5,000 meters (3.1 mile) on the Tennessee River ending at Ross's Landing Park in downtown Chattanooga, Tenn. Spectators are given a beautiful view of the racing at the Tennessee Aquarium and along two bridges , including the Walnut Street Bridge which is the longest pedestrian bridge over freshwater in the world.
