Oklahoma junior Tara Eckel claimed the Singles Gold Championship Saturday as the Sooners go 5-3 on day two of the San Diego State Invitational. Eckel defeated Miranda Young of UC Irvine in the Singles Gold final, 7-5, 6-0. The title marks the Sooners' fourth title win and Eckel's first this fall.
