California women's tennis sophomore Stephany Chang and freshman Annie Goransson were each eliminated from contention in the quarterfinal round of the 2009 Arizona State Thunderbird Invitational Saturday, Nov. 7, at the Whiteman Tennis Center. Chang fell, 6-4, 6-4, to top-seeded and No. 7-ranked Kelcy McKenna of Arizona State and Goransson went three sets with second-seeded No. 35 Nadia Abdala of Arizona State before she lost, 2-6, 6-1, 6-1.
