World Series Game 2: Evened Up

Random thoughts/ramblings/game notes on tonight’s Phillies game -Well-played game tonight. I’m sure Phillies fans are disappointed tonight, however, I’m sure if you offered any of them a split in New York coming into the series, they would have taken that in a heartbeat. -It’s also worth noting that the Phillies pitchers held the Yankees to four runs in two games. -I’m sure Phillies fans are also taking solace tonight in the fact that they lost Game Two to the Rays in last year’s World Series and didn’t lose again. In fact, the Phillies have lost game two of every postseason series dating back to last year’s Fall Classic, and it seems to have worked out okay for them so far. -It felt like there...
