I’ve been kicking this post around in my head for a few days now, but in light of Joe D’s post regarding the lack of journalistic integrity, I think it’s time to write it. First and foremost, congratulations to the New York Giants on their Super Bowl victory. I’ve been a Met fan for 40 years, and a Giant fan for almost that long, so this year’s win was a sweet surprise. Remember when the season started? None of the so-called experts, sports writers and talking head, gave Big Blue any chance of finishing higher than last place. The Eagles were the dream team. Dallas, is well Dallas, and the Redskins had to be better, right? The Giants went out and showed them all. They took care of business.
