A Giant(s) Love Fest: Prepare for a Week-Long Celebration

Photo: AP It’s time. I’ve never been a Giants-hater, bu it’s tough to split your allegiances on New York teams, even if your team of choice isn’t even in the tournament. Yet, as my wife (diehard Giants fan) so eloquently put it last night… “Your daughter has been on this Earth for five months, and she’s already seeing her team go to the Super Bowl. You’ve been around for 34 1/2 years [trails off with a smirk]….” She is right. It is only one of the reasons why we compromised on our offspring’s allegiances (to spare her the pain of a Mets-Jets existence). Today, I must pause and give the G-Men their due. In fact, I’m going to go a bit further. I’m going to celebrate their Championship run throughout the week. You heard that right, Legend loyalists. One post a day. Each one praising the Big Blue Wrecking Crew. Our first installment later this evening. Take note…because this may never happen again.
