Will Lindsey Vonn return in time for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi? They begin exactly one year from today, will that bring a triumphant Lindsey Vonn return? About the last thing on Vonn’s mind right now is her supposed relationship with Tiger Woods and how to handle the media hoopla that surrounds it. She has real problems now. Vonn was airlifted to safety during a crash that caused major damage to her right knee at the Super G World Championships. Vonn tore her anterior cruciate and medial collateral ligaments. She also fractured the tibial plateau. See the crash. (as long as you’re not faint of heart) Vonn maybe the most accomplished (and without a doubt THE HOTTEST) skier in U.S. history. This is the sixth straight major championship in which Vonn has been hit with injuries. Her surgery will take place next week and she will work as hard as humanly possible to make it to the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. This hasn’t been the best year healthwise for the recently divorced Vonn. Which reminds me, her name is Lindsey Kildow now. A couple months ago she was hospitalized to undergo many tests. It was a scary experience. However, she recovered from a midseason break due to an intestinal illness. And she was as strong as ever- until yesterday. Paul M.
