Jeff Gordon led the way with a lap of 23.115 seconds in the final practice for the AAA 400 from Dover. Rounding out the top five was Joey Logano, Jimmie Johnson, Kurt Busch, and David Stremme. Regan Smith, whom Busch will replace in a few weeks, put up the 7th best time. Some start and parkers got into the action with Scott Speed putting his Ford in the 8th place and Michael McDowell put his Ford in the 11th place on the speed charts. TJ Bell had the honor of being the 48th and slowest driver, 1.074 seconds off of Gordon’s time.
