I've always been a fan of the underdog. My favorite teams have always been teams that have rarely been the favorite. I attended a small college to play baseball and currently work in the sports information field at another small college.

I prefer collegiate athletics over professional sports. The professional sports which I choose to follow are Major League Baseball and soccer, mostly the English Premier League. I prefer college sports over pro sports because of the passion, both from the players and the fans. The atmosphere is so exciting in almost every collegiate game. Pro sports have their die-hards, but nothing like that of college students, alumni and hometown fans.

I have been writing at a professional level for seven years. This is the fifth blog I have served as the lead writer. Previously, I was the lead writer for Inside the Ballpark and DeJuiced at b5media. This current blog is one that has been in the works for awhile. Hopefully, you will enjoy.
