Found June 14, 2013 on Awful Announcing:
The Philadelphia Eagles signed fourth-round pick Matt Barkley to a four year contract on Thursday. After being projected to be a top ten (or better) pick if he left USC for the 2012 Draft, Barkley's stock plummeted after a disappointing senior season at USC. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported the signing, with a little dig that the contract wasn't similar to the one Barkley would have signed a year ago. Barkley's response was full of snark and to the point... @AdamSchefter yeah, because my signature has changed. Duhhhh #thanksforthecommentaryAdam — Matthew Barkley (@MattBarkley) June 13, 2013 Over at Bleacher Report, AA contributor Brad Gagnon raises the possibility that Barkley sending playful jabs to the media could eventually wreck him in an intense, sports-crazy market like Philadelphia. While Barkley's response to Schefty was pretty awesome (especially his lenghty hashtag), if he's sniping back at people for a simple observation like that, Philly sports radio might make him quit social media by September. Matt Barkley was taken by the Eagles in the fourth round, but was projected as more of a late first-round or second-round guy. He was also rated by NFLDraftZone.com as the second-best quarterback in the NFL Draft. Matt Barkley with a great response to Adam Schefter

Matt Barkley does not care for Adam Schefter’s commentary about his contract
