There has been tons of movement on the coaching front over the past week. Mike Lonergan has been attached to some of the events, however at this point he remains at Vermont. However, you can now add Iona to the list of potential candidates. According to HoopDirt.com, he is being named as a suitor for the position with the MAAC school. Also on the list is former Boston coach Dennis Wolff.
Another name that is floating around is former Hartford coach Larry Harrison. Now an assistant at West Virginia, his name is being brought up for the spot with cross state rival Marshall.
Tim Welsh will no longer be a fixture on Championship Saturday. He was hired by Hofstra yesterday. Welsh has been the color man for ESPN during the past two America East Championships.
