Check out this goal from Houston Aeros’ forward Jason Zucker. It was the game winner in the Aeros’ matchup Sunday night against the Abbotsford Heat, and it was scored a mere five seconds into extra time, tying the American Hockey League record for fastest goal ever scored in overtime. Zucker is a former second-round pick (59th overall in 2010) of the Minnesota Wild. He’s played in six games with the Wild, notching two assists. So far this season, while playing for the Wild’s AHL affiliate Aeros, he’s second on the team in points with 15, and the above goal was his team-leading ninth of the season.
