Alan Belcher talked a big game going into last night’s fight, but was unable to back it up against Michael Bisbing. Bisbing was easily winning the fight before one of his digits went into the eye of Belcher causing the fight to end and Belcher to receive stitches.

The fight has come and gone, and at the end of the day it appears as though the Light Heavyweight title fight between Chael Sonnen and Jon Jones was indeed the mismatch that so many people thought it would be.
The New Jersey Athletic Commission handed out medical suspensions to fighters who competed at UFC 159 this last Saturday. Here is a list of the suspensions and the severity for each fighter.
Suspended indefinitely pending physician’s clearance:
Jon Jones- left foot injury
Alan Belcher- right eye injury
Phil Davis- left knee injury and requires X-rays of right thumb
