The man who is considered a person of interest in the murder of Amy Lord was a suspect in a violent attack on a woman 10 months ago, after she tore his ID from him as she fell unconscious, according to a Boston police report.
However, according to court records, there is no indication Edwin Alemany was ever arrested in connection with the assault.
A.B. Talk about a confusing report. Alemany attacks a girl who is able to identify him via his ID but no arrest is made?
How does that happen? Isn’t just being accused of assault an automatic arrest? People get picked up by police for so much less every day. I feel like with assault, you go to the station in cuffs and figure out the rest when you arrive. Why was this incident involving Alemany any different?
