The Los Angeles Angels made some big moves this offseason but it doesn’t look like veteran pitcher Roy Oswalt will be their next.Los Angeles denied claims that it was trying to sign the free-agent starter. General manager Jerry Dipoto told reporters that the team isn’t looking to sign another starting pitcher, despite former GM Jim Bowden telling ESPN the Angels were the frontrunners to sign Oswalt."I can't qualify for everything you hear," Dipoto told MLB.com. "But I can say that we're quite happy with the way our starting pitchers have thrown this spring and the way they've developed. You never have enough pitching, so it's tough for me to say that there's not a time in this season where our situation may not change, but right now, we're very happy with where our pitching is."Oswalt, 34, struggled with back issues in Philadelphia last season. He went 9-10 with a 3.69 ERA in 23 starts for the Phillies.

Bobby Abreu really needs to shut up

Quite simply, he's taken it too far.  These are no longer the words of a frustrated veteran, but rather of an entitled, deluded buffoon who appears to be making it his personal mission...
