These are all things that would make me very, very happy. But nothing would make me happier than if we finally got a playoff system in college football to legitimately determine a national champion. OK, world peace would make me way happier.
But you get the point. Hope for a playoff system seems bleak at best, but at least there’s a slight movement in that direction.
According to Bud Withers of The Seattle Times, athletic directors of the Big Ten and Pac-12 recently discussed the possibility of a plus-one system, which at least shows there’s some dissatisfaction with the current system
