After a grueling road schedule against two Top 25 BCS opponents, Arkansas State returned home here Saturday night to take on FCS Alcorn State before hosting Western Kentucky in next week's Sun Belt Opener. As expected, ASU handled Alcorn State 56-0 in a game that saw a lot of offense a solid performance by the Red Wolves defensive unit.

JONESBORO, Ark. (9/22/12) – An impressive display on both sides of the ball by the Arkansas State football team propelled the Red Wolves to a resounding 56-0 shutout win over Alcorn State Saturday evening before 21,559 Liberty Bank Stadium fans in a game televised on ESPN3.com.
