I am not yet sure what to make of the Mets' signing of Tim "lightning storms lit up all downtown" Redding. Tim Marchman makes a good case for Redding's adequacy, but I'd feel better about the Mets' rotation if Redding was a sixth starter/swingman rather than the fifth starter. Maybe I overestimated the Mets' budget or underestimated the market for Derek Lowe and Oliver Perez, but I still
