The trend of wild college football uniforms continues, and this time it is courtesy of Arizona State who is riding high off of their win against USC. ASU unveiled today their helmets for their ‘Shamrock Series’ game against the Irish on October 5th, and they are the opposite of what a Catholic University would like to see lining up across from them. FIRE! HELL! DEVIL!

The Sun Devils introduced brand-new helmets for their upcoming game against Notre Dame, and they are certainly a sight to behold. Instead of one solid color, each helmet will be decked out with a crown of flames, as well as three of the team’s signature pitchfork logos.

The Arizona State Sun Devils unveiled these special helmets for their Shamrock Series with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and they are strange. The three pitchfork logos, coupled with the fireballs makes for one unique helmet, but a strange one at that. The helmet they wore last week looks better than this helmet and they would be better off wearing that, in my opinion.
Not only is Arizona State-Notre Dame going to be a great game this weekend as part of the Shamrock Series for the Fighting Irish, but it’s also going to be a serious fashion show. Yesterday, the Sun Devils began teasing a new uniform for the matchup, but just revealed a new helmet at today’s press conference — here it is:

What was expected to be a defensive struggle between divisional foes turned into a shootout on Saturday night at Sun Devil Stadium.
