NEW YORK — There are now just under two hours left until the first pitch of World Series Game 6 and it can't come fast enough.* While it was fun to talk about storylines like Chase Utley's MVP status, the possibility of Pedro Martinez's last turn on the big stage and factors that may or may not affect Andy Pettitte's effort, it's time to play ball. *Because there are only so many chuckles you can get out of a NY post cover. Are we headed for another high-scoring affair like Game 5? A duel between the two old horses, Pedro and Pettitte, like in Game 2? I think we're headed for the latter and it'll turn into a classic on what's a very chilly November night in the Bronx. For fans as baseball, it doesn't get much better than two familiar opponents facing off with the World Series on the line.
