Greg Biffle passed Jimmie Johnson with 30 laps to go and held on to win the NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Texas on Saturday night.
The victory was Biffle's first of the season.
Johnson placed second, followed by Mark Martin and Jeff Gordon.
Johnson was denied his first win of the season, while Hendrick Motorsports came up short in its shot at a 200th career victory.
Jeff Gordon had a strong run. After starting in the 34th position, Gordon placed fourth.
Surprisingly there were only two cautions, both for debris.
With 50 laps remaining, Johnson was in first, ahead of Greg Biffle and Mark Martin.
Johnson clinched the extra-point bonus for leading the most laps in the race.
Martin Truex Jr., who started on the pole, led the race four times and finished sixth.
The trio of Johnson, Biffle and Martin were still in the top-three with 85 laps to go.
Through 173 of 334 laps, there were 14 lead changes and six different leaders.
