Big numbers, big miscues for Bucs tight end Kellen Winslow

TE Kellen Winslow had one of his most productive games since joining the Bucs in 2009, but it was a performance that will be mixed with a pair of costly miscues that loomed large in the game’s outcome. Winslow – who finished with a career-high 132 yards on nine catches – had a touchdown negated with 5:07 left in the third quarter, when he was flagged for offensive pass interference. That nullified the 4-yard fade pass he had caught from Josh Freeman for a would-be touchdown. The Bucs wound up settling for a field goal that trimmed the score to 21-13. Then, when the Bucs positioned themselves to tie the score with a touchdown with 13:11 left in the fourth quarter, Winslow dropped a two-point conversion pass from Freeman despite having two hands on the ball.
