Big prizes may encourage attendance at City Year literacy event

City Year Corps will host a literacy night for students from all Cody schools and their families from 4-6 p.m. Thursday in the main Cody library on the second floor. During event, which planners are calling "The Great Escape," will have spoken word performances by a guest writer and student poets, literacy workshops for parents, book giveaways, and a raffle that includes more than $500 worth of prizes.
