“The Prodigy” will travel to Salt Lake City to undergo eye surgery to repair a cataract. As of now Penn is not contemplating a return, instead focusing on his health and family. Given a successful surgery he did however say, “If I go in the gym and I’m knocking down all my sparring partners and doing awesome I would definitely think of fighting again.” Would be great to see BJ back in the Octagon, but this time at 155lbs. BJ traveled to Utah this week to undergo surgery that removed a cataract in his eye. He went to renowned doctor Alan Crandall. BJ Posted this on this Facebook page earlier today, “Cataract surgery wasn’t fun but it was painless,already the glare is gone and my depth perception is improving.” Wish the legend a speedy recovery.
