The Washington Wizards have once again been rumored to be the landing spot for free agent DeJuan Blair.  DeJuan Blair is interested in signing with the Wizards, source tells @SNYtv. @WojYahooNBA reported Washington had interest. — Adam Zagoria (@AdamZagoria) July 19, 2013 Blair had his ups and downs while with the San Antonio Spurs and it’s well known that he will not be returning for this next season with the team. San Antonio has since added free agent Jeff Pendergraph to replace Blair at the power forward position this offseason. With teams picking up the scraps to fill out their rosters, Blair should look to find a new team rather quickly.  Man I gotta get back to the finals!!! — DeJuan Blair (@DeJuan45) July 14, 2013 Mia wat up — DeJuan Blair (@DeJuan45) July 17, 2013 Blair has also expressed his desire to play for a championship contender and has been in Miami working out recently. I’m sure all players would love to play for a contender, but there has to be mutual interest. So far there have been no links to Miami having any desire to add Blair, as it seems they are still waiting on a decision from Greg Oden.    Ending up in Washington would be a good fit for Blair as long as he can remain in the rotation. For an undersized power forward, Blair can bring energy and effort to any team looking to add him. Spurs fans respect the time he spent here, but realize it’s time for both sides to move on.
