Brad Marchand got into a little trouble with coach Claude Julien after Marchand was fined for slew-footing. It seems that Julien likes Marchand's feisty ways, but sometimes the young forward takes things a little too far. "As I put it into my own words, I want him to be a good brat, not a bad brat," Julien said when discussing Marchand's $2500 fine. NESN Nation's Dan Duquette was inspired to ask our Twitter followers who their all-time favorite sports "brats" were. Their answers may surprise you. Did we miss your favorite "brat?" Brad Marchand Uncertain About Embracing Latest Nickname, But 'Brat' May Catch On After Two-Goal Night

BOSTON -- Brad Marchand is a man of many names. Not all get the Marchand stamp of approval though. "Nose-Face Killah?" That one's a keeper. "Marshmont?" Not so much. Where the hell is Jeff Green?

Twitter / @scott_souza: Danny Ainge told Doc River ... via kwout I'm really not sure exactly what is going on here.  It's not like Jeff Green has been around for years and knows the system.  He could use a little time with his teammates.  Some of you on Twitter have been speculating that Green is still part of trade talks.  Which I suppose is possible...

On Danny Ainge’s offseason performance: The highs, the lows and remaining questions

Beginning the free agency season, the Celtics’ best-case scenario had the team filling its center need by using its mini mid-level exception to sign someone like Kwame Brown. That sounds like a joke, but it’s not.Despite years of being a punch line and hands that couldn’t hold on to a ball of masking tape, Brown serves a purpose as an above-average defender willing to play...

Rask, Marchand lead Bruins over Kings 3-0

Tuukka Rask did his best impression of Tim Thomas tonight in Boston, as the goalie had a season high 41 saves, many of them of the awkward variety, against the Los Angeles Kings in the first shut out of the season for Rask. Many expected the Kings to come out with their feet moving, playing re-energized hockey, after the club fired head coach Terry Murray last night. That wasn...

Doc Rivers, Danny Ainge reveal little about Jeff Green’s medical issues

The more the Celtics brass declines to answer questions about Jeff Green’s medical issues directly, the worse the issues seem.
