Brand's game winning jumper beat Nets, 93-92

Elton Brand became a preseason hero hitting a short range jumper with 7 seconds left to beat the New Jersey Nets 93-92. The Sixers go to 3-0 in the preseason. Marreese Speights was the high scorer for the Sixers finishing with 16 points off the bench. Lou Williams added 15 points and Thaddeus Young recorded a double double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Brand is now showing signs that he is beginning to return to form. For the Nets, Chris Douglas-Roberts led all scorers with 20 points. Good young big man Brook Lopez had 18 points and 6 rebounds. Next up for the Sixers will be the New York Knicks Tueday night on the road. Game time will be 7:30 PM EST. --
