If Brandon Jacobs expected to be a major contributor with the San Francisco 49ers, this season has been a complete disappointment for him. Jacobs was sidelined with a knee injury for a number of games toward the beginning of the season, but he has been healthy for several weeks now and still has not received a carry. It would be tough to blame the bruiser for being unhappy. On Thursday, Jacobs took to Twitter and wrote the following: Never work in a place where you hate your boss so much, you should always be happy at work.#YouLiveAndYouLearn — Brandon Jacobs (@gatorboy45) November 15, 2012 Have you ever been in a spot and you wonder why are you there. — Brandon Jacobs (@gatorboy45) November 15, 2012 Since it’s really not a secret that Jacobs is frustrated with his lack of involvement in San Francisco’s offense, it makes sense that everyone assumed the tweets were directed toward Jim Harbaugh and the Niners. To make matters even more interesting, fellow running back LaMichael James retweeted the tweet about hating your boss. James has also not worked his way into the backfield mix this season. Naturally, Jacobs has denied that the tweets were directed toward his bosses. “People automatically assume it has something to do with this (expletive) sport,” Jacobs said according to CSNBayArea.com. “It’s not. It’s not. I have different companies, and different businesses. I got a life on the outside of football.” Perhaps Jacobs is frustrated with some other business venture he has going on outside of football, but he later wrote on Twitter that the initial tweet was about his brother and the struggles he is having with his boss. So which one is it? Both? Neither? We’ll never know for sure, but there isn’t really anything Jacobs could say to make me believe the tweets weren’t about the Niners. H/T Pro Football Talk
