FootBasket:
Many were worried after Braxton Miller went down hard after a 37-yard run and had to leave the game for the Ohio State Buckeyes in a game versus the Purdue Boilermakers on Saturday, as many were wondering of what is the timetable for him to return.
It’s soon enough, as the sophomore will be all set and ready to go for Saturday’s match-up against Big Ten rival Penn State. Miller says he only has a sore neck and that he will be all good to go against the Nittanny Lions.
“I’m good, I’m good, I’m all good,” Miller said. “Just a little bit sore (in the neck), but that’s about it. I’d say I’m full go.”
Miller had some repetitions during practice and the team already has backup Kenny Guiton ready if needed, as he helped the Buckeyes late to barely get the victory over Purdue last Saturday in overtime, as Ohio State was able to cling on to their undefeated record.
“(Miller) is doing good, full-speed practices really yesterday and today,” Ohio State coach Urban Meyer said. “He has a sore neck, but today was much better. He lifted and he’s good to go.
“At this point, it’s Wednesday after practice, we’re good to go.”
We’ll see if Miller can continue to show his Heisman-caliber-like ways this Saturday.

Buckeyes' Miller says he's fine
When Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller first was hurt in Saturday's game against Purdue, he didn't know what to think.
He'd never before been thrown down on his head and neck.
''I didn't know what it was,'' he said of his injury. ''I was just a little bit dizzy from the hit, whiplash. So they sent me to the hospital to see what it was...
Braxton Miller: "I'm good"
BY Marcus HartmanBuckeyeSports.com
Braxton Miller had a simple answer for those concerned about his health this week as Ohio State prepares to face Penn State on Saturday in University Park.
"I'm good," the Buckeyes' soft-spoken sophomore quarterback said Wednesday night, the first time he has met with reporters since absorbing a nasty collision with the Ohio Stadium...
Penn State v. Ohio State, Stage Set for Probation Bowl
Penn State senior QB Matt McGloin is ready to battle QB Braxton Miller and the Ohio State Buckeyes. The two best teams in the Big Ten conference are pitted to play each other this Saturday night. Despite their dominance on the field, both teams are ineligible for post season play because of NCAA sanctions dubbing this marquee match-up the Probation Bowl. Even though Ohio State...
Miller Still Drives Offense
OSU has relied on quarterback Braxton Miller to make big plays all season, many of which are the reason the Buckeyes have yet to lose a game through eight weeks of the season. Miller, however, has left each of the team's last four games with injury and protecting the QB is an ongoing concern. However, OSU doesn't anticipate changing its game plan so long as Miller is healthy.

While it’s easy to crack (bad) jokes and call Saturday’s showdown between Ohio State and Penn State the “The Ineligi-Bowl” the truth is that while this game might not have postseason implications, it is still a matchup between the two best teams in the Big Ten right now. By far.
It is also a matchup...

Rival Rewind is glad Braxton is ok, Paul is home, and ND will lose
Michigan has the unique position of having three big rivals. Most teams only have one rival to get up for, but year-in and year-out, Michigan has three. While we, as fans, hate each of these teams, we carry some respect for them. Michigan State and Ohio State carry conference affiliation ties while Notre Dame, well, we all just put up with them. All season long, it’s fun to keep...
Despite exciting win, Buckeyes have lots to fix
In the jubilation that followed Ohio State's strain-the-imagination win over Purdue on Saturday, several important considerations were pushed into the background.
Yes, the ninth-ranked Buckeyes (8-0, 4-0 Big Ten) stayed unbeaten with the heart-pounding 29-22 overtime win in which they trailed by eight points with 47 seconds left and had the ball at their own 39 and their best...
Ohio State at Penn State: Three Bold Predictions
This game is setting up to be the biggest game of the Big Ten conference this year and one of the biggest FBS games of the season. Ohio State's run game has powered...
Dear Students, a note for Saturday's game

This was the inexcusable chant booming out of the Penn State student section on November 7, 2009 – the last time the Ohio State Buckeyes played in Beaver Stadium. This Saturday the Buckeyes come back to Happy Valley and, after some extended tailgating hours, I am sure my fellow Penn State students will be ready to make their...
