Breaking Down Strikeforce Odds

Fedor Emelianenko (-500) vs. Brett Rogers (+350): I love writing odds on the Fedor fights because you literally KNOW the man is going to win. So the question is, if Rogers hits the 1 in 1,000 chance to beat the guy, do the odds on Fedor still make sense? In this case, they do. I'd even take a -1000 on the mighty Russian. As a result, the 500 is a steal. Bet 15 units to win 3 units. Jake Shields (-300) vs. Jason Miller (+220): Mayhem is quite the quandary because he's a top 15 fighter who consistently fights top 10 guys. As a result, he has trouble winning the big fights but he rarely loses either. I think Shields will probably decision him but I don't think it's worth the bet. No bet....
