Brent Grimes Signed his first round tender today. It’s not much of a surprise that he is back, but it’s great to have him at camp. The deal is reportedly worth 2.61 million. Grimes is a probowl Corner, and should only improve next year.
A side story to this signing is the battle that continues for the nickel back. Chris Owens and Dominique Franks are battling it out for the starting nickel back job. Getting grimes back at camp means, there are less snaps for the other corners, therefore Owens and Franks are going to have to make every snap count as they seek more playing time.
