MILWAUKEE The Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday announced that all members of their 2011 major league coaching staff will return for the 2012 season under second-year manager Ron Roenicke."The coaching staff worked extremely hard and were a big part of our success this season," general manager Doug Melvin said in a statement. "Their experience and day-to-day focus on game preparation did not go unnoticed by Ron and the front office."The Brewers won 96 games last season and won their first division title since 1982.Dale Sveum, the longest-tenured coach on the staff, is set to return for his seventh season overall and fourth as hitting coach, though he is still in the running for managing jobs with the Boston Red Sox and Chicago Cubs.The Brewers led the National League in home runs (185) and slugging percentage (.425) last season and ranked third in batting average (.261). Rick Kranitz will return for his second season as pitching coach. Kranitz guided a staff that produced a franchise-record 96 wins while recording a 3.63 ERA, its best since posting a 3.43 ERA in 1992.Also returning to the coaching staff are third base coach Ed Sedar (sixth season; second as third base coach), bullpen coach Stan Kyles (fourth season), first base coach Garth Iorg (second season) and bench coach Jerry Narron (second season). Outfield coach John Shelby will return for his second season with the Brewers.
