By Jason Benfari November 05, 2009UFC President Dana White recently revealed that UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar has contracted mononucleosis. The gigantic former NCAA wrestling champion will be unable to train for as long as six weeks, putting off his recently rescheduled UFC championship fight against Shane Carwin yet again.
The fight was originally scheduled for UFC 106 on Nov. 21, but was pushed back to UFC 108 on Jan. 2 when Lesnar informed UFC brass that he was unable to train properly due to an illness. Lesnar's latest revelation puts the fight in jeopardy.
White was non-committal on whether the promotion would push the fight back again to sometime in late January or February or if they would scrap the fight altogether.
