Ohio State opened practice to the students for the second year in a row Saturday, and the result was a bit of spirit on the outdoor fields at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center. Fun was had by nearly all -- except, perhaps, by the Ohio State mascot.

Brutus Buckeye, the famed Ohio State mascot must have had one wish or something. During Ohio State’s football Student Appreciation Day, Brutus was given a chance under center to run one play.
Brutus started to scramble around and got blasted by linebacker David Perkins. Much respect for Brutus, because he hopped right up.
