DESPITE THROWING A pair of interceptions – one on the opening drive of the night – Connor Halliday kept the Cougars from getting burned in the desert with a 35-27 win over UNLV tonight in Las Vegas.

WASHINGTON STATE'S Air Raid offense was unleashed Friday against UNLV after being mostly absent the first two games of the season. After Connor Halliday’s 379-passing yard effort against the Runnin’ Rebels, many scribes far and wide wrote that this Cougar offense is beginning to come to form.
The Cougars of BYU will hit the road and travel north to take on Utah this Saturday at Rice Eccles Stadium. As the Utes take the field on offense, they’ll face a tough defense expected to be one the best to suit up in BYU blue and white in a very long time.
