It was a tough season with a lot of injuries, and with yesterday's loss to BYU there will be no Hawaii Bowl for UH. It was a frustrating year, but there's a lot of talent coming back next year. We'll see how this offseason goes. Thank you and aloha to all the seniors. HawaiiAthletics.com has the game summary.Trailing 13-10 at the half, the Cougars (9-3) scored 34 unanswered points, including 28 in the third quarter, to put the game out of reach. The Warriors only managed 89 yards of total offense in the second half. With the loss, the Warriors (6-7) failed to reach the seven wins necessary to qualify for the hometown Sheraton Hawai'i Bowl. UH finished the season with a losing record for the second time in three seasons and for just the third time in the past 11 years.
