Love her or hate her, a Danica Patrick win would be hugely popular. And Danica being in Gatorade Victory Lane on Friday night isn't that far fetched. Many people have jumped off the Danica bandwagon, but it's no secret she's at her best in a stock car on restrictor plate tracks. In her four career NASCAR Nationwide Series starts at Daytona she's finished 35th, 14th, 10th, and 38th respectively. Now, you may be wondering how is that successful, but consider that she's led in every one of those races and has been a contender for most, including leading near the end of last year's Subway Jalapeno 250. She had a shot at the win, but got caught up in a late crash which wasn't her fault.
