Guest post written by Fannie Tildan I don’t really care to bake most months of the year, but one time that I do prefer is when it’s Christmastime. I don’t know what it is, just maybe the holiday spirit and cool air that make me want shortbread cookies and all kinds of great sweet treats. So I give in to it and just go ahead and bake to my heart’s content. Besides, I don’t hear any complaints from my kids about all the cookies there for them to have. I’ve already whipped up a couple of Christmas cookie batches and decorated them in all kinds of bright colored icing, candy and sprinkles. Doing that is almost as fun as eating them!
