Red Sox fans are pretty upset that the Sox won't be playing any playoff baseball this year. They are pretty happy, though, that it means no fans will put together some annoying parody about the postseason, like a group of Cardinals fans did this week. In "Cardinals are Going, Going, Going to the World Series," (a "Video and lyrics by Katie, Cori, Ashley and Jill"), a group of Cards fans take Taylor Swift's "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" song and twist it into a World Series jam, as seen below.

  • Wow... let's see - after I got done cleaning the blood from inside of my ears, I really don't know what to say. I will just leave it at: please, please leave the singing duties to the professionals. I don't EVER, EVER, EVER want to hear that parody jingle again!
  • Didn't realize Simon Cowell was keeping track of enthusiastic Cardinal fans.
...point being, this was not meant as a proffessional gig. It's a very well done Cardinal tribute! Those who live in Cardinal Nation, regardless of mailing address, would know that.
Frankly, we thought it was pretty good, and the comments I heard as people were watching it were that "they aren't bad singers, either!"
  • its baseball...
  • Good job, gals! I thought it was terrific. Hopefully, the team will see it and continue the wins all the way. 12 in '12 in 12. GO CARDS!
  • I agree with relevant. this was a hard one to listen to. ouch.
